Update vom 11.03.2010: Nun stehen die Spiele-Plattformen und der Preis zu Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, was als Download-Game angeboten wird, fest:
Das Spiel um Lara Croft wird für 15 US-Dollar für PC, PSN und XBLA zu haben sein. Für die Xbox 360 wären das beispielsweise 1200 MSP.
In dem Action-Spiel werdet ihr zu zweit etwa sechs Stunden im Koop-Modus mit Lady Croft versunkenen Schätzen hinter her jagen können.

Original vom 05.03.2010: Square Enix hat verlauten lassen, dass noch für 2010 ein neues Game mit der Videospiel-Legende Lara Croft geplant ist: Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light verzichtet auf das Tomb Raider-Label im Namen und soll komplett als Download angeboten werden.
Auf welchen Systemen das Spiel mit Lara Croft erscheinen soll ist noch nicht bekannt, aber wir rechnen mit PS3 und Xbox 360. Möglicherweise wird es auch eine Umsetzung für PC und Handheld geben. Erste Informationen zu Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light sollen auf der GDC in San Francisco geliefert werden.
Darrell Gallagher vom Entwickler Crystal Dynamics merkt zum neuen Lara-Spiel an, dass Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light etwas völlig neues ist und anders sei, als manche Leute es sich vorstellen könnten - aha!
