Ich muss gleich mal auf Ebay schauen, ob ich da auch so einen Nanosuit finde. Der Anzug bringt mit der Zeit so viel Spaß, dass man ihn am liebsten nie mehr ausziehen möchte - ok, für manche Dinge vielleicht schon ... Nach dem recht gemächlichen Start zieht Crysis 2 ab Spielmitte deutlich an Tempo an, dann zeigen die Aliens auch immer mehr, was sie auf dem Kasten haben. Man darf Crytek auf alle Fälle für ihre erste Multiplattform-Entwicklung loben, allerdings ohne überschwänglich zu werden. Es gibt dann doch einige Mängel, die dafür sorgen, dass Crysis 2 im Vergleich mit Killzone 3 knapp das Nachsehen hat.

PC Games - 90 / 100
Es ist fair und richtig, Crysis 2 mit seinem Vorgänger zu vergleichen. Und wer das tut, könnte leicht enttäuscht sein - so wie ich. Man sollte es bei aller Liebe zum Original aber nicht übertreiben: Auch Crysis 2 ist ein erstklassiger Shooter geworden! Die Kämpfe fordern, die Inszenierung ist grandios und die Levels bieten genug taktische Freiheit - Crysis 2 mag zwar etwas "gewöhnlicher" sein, doch vom üblichen Shooter-Einheitsbrei ist es immer noch meilenweit entfernt.

Despite those complaints, Crysis 2 succeeds. It's a beautiful, engrossing experience that avoids the anemic, scripted playbook made law by the 500 pound shooter gorilla. It plays well, encourages creative problem-solving, and confidently delivers a series of escalating and changing encounters and scenarios that will push you to think in a way few shooters have in an era of increasingly funneled experiences. While Crysis 2 loses its footing during a few odd moments, Crytek more than delivers on the promise of their previous games.

Crysis 2 is porn. It's lots of fun at first, it's wonderful to look at and it's going to make a lot of people very happy. But by the half-way point I was bored of gasping at the visuals, yet I kept plugging away, feeling increasingly ashamed because I was playing even though I didn't really want to. And, now it's done, I want to have a little cry. There's so much to like about it, yet it's hollow and repetitive, and as much as I liked it, it's left a sour taste my mouth.

In a genre that has become complacent with tunnel-style levels, experiencing the openness ofCrysis 2 feels all the more refreshing. Of course you do have specific destinations to reach in each chapter, but how you get there and how many enemies you kill is up to you. While it does not feature the labyrinthine layouts of Wolfenstein and Doom, I can't think of a better shooter out there that captures the exploratory appeal of those games, paying homage to a time when the genre was in its infancy.

After playing Crysis 2 for 20+ hours in the span of just two days, I'm still not sick of the game. Crysis 2 is a riveting first-person shooter I highly recommend to fans of the genre, as well as those looking for something to showcase the might of their 3DTV. It ain't perfect, but Crysis 2 has plenty to offer both fans of multiplayer and gamers who prefer a well-crafted solo campaign.

While the single-player campaign is something I can see myself returning to a couple more times in a quest for Achievements/Trophies, the multiplayer side of Crysis 2 has me utterly hooked. I came for the pretty graphics, was happy with the solid shooter underneath them and am pretty much beside myself with how unexpectedly good the online play is. So yes, to answer your question, Crysis 2 runs on consoles. And if you're craving a fresh take on the multiplayer shooter, that's damn good news.

Even though "Crysis" still feels more at home on a PC, by pushing the technical limits of the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, "Crysis 2" provides a wider audience of players with an incredibly rewarding campaign and remarkable combative multi-player that will awe players as a revolutionary adventure. Splicing "Crysis 2's" fantastic gameplay with its surreally beautiful graphics sets this title up to be 2011's game of the year.

Attack of the Fanboy - Loved
Despite some of it's flaws, Crysis 2 is a great introduction to the Crysis universe for Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers. Some subtle changes to the gameplay may feel like a stretch for fans of the old PC versions, but the appeal is still there. The attention to detail in Crysis 2 is outstanding. It has a story that you won't soon forget, with an open ending that may have you beginning the long wait to Crysis 3 prematurely, but don't worry there's plenty of multiplayer goodness to go around until it comes.

Man kann eigentlich nur dann etwas an Crysis 2 aussetzen, wenn man (wie ich) den Vorgänger wegen seiner offenen Spielwelt liebte. Ich fühle mich bei Crysis 2 überraschend eingeengt, dabei bietet mir dieser Shooter viel mehr Freiraum als die ganze Call of Duty-Reihe zusammen - nur erwarte ich da Schlauchlevels, bei einem Crytek-Spiel hingegen nicht. Letztlich fehlt mir in Crysis 2 noch das Besondere, dieser eine Moment, den ich untrennbar mit dem Spiel verbinde. Wenn mich nämlich einer nach meiner Lieblingsszene aus Crysis 2 fragt, fällt mir spontan keine ein. Vielleicht gibt's davon einfach zu viele.

Wer ein Herz für Shooter-Action hat, kann mit dieser Alien-Jagd absolut nichts falsch machen.

Crytek did it again. "Crysis 2" ist weit mehr als ein Grafikbrett. New York ist zwar nicht so frei erkundbar wie die Ling-Shan-Inseln, ist insgesamt aber der atmosphärischere Schauplatz. Packt einen ausbalancierten und umfangreichen Multiplayer, eine zehn- bis zwölfstündige Kampagne mit atemberaubenden "Kinnlade runter"-Momenten oben drauf, und ihr habt den vorerst besten Shooter des Jahres. Wir sind gespannt, welcher Konkurrent "Crysis 2" den Genrethron streitig machen wird.
