Da der Rechtsstreit zwischen Activision Blizzard und Double Fine endlich beigelegt wurde (man einigte sich außergerichtlich), steht dem Release von Brütal Legend am 25.10.2009 nichts mehr im Weg! Klare Sache, dass der Spieler neben Auftritten von Rock-Legenden wie Lemmy Kilmister von Motörhead oder Ozzy Osbourne vor allem einen Metal-Soundtrack zu erwarten hat, der mit allen unheiligen Wassern gewaschen ist.
